By now, everyone knows that Kanye West proposed to Kim Kardashian on Monday night, which was her 33rd birthday.

E! News’ Ken Baker called in to On Air with Ryan Seacrest on Tuesday morning to give us all the details on the engagement, how it all went down at AT&T Park in San Francisco, if the couple’s baby North was there, and how much Kim’s 15-carat ring cost.

Although Kanye is on his Yeezus tour, he had the night off on Monday, Kim’s birthday. “This was probably the best birthday present she could ever have asked for,” says Ken. “We knew that the family was getting ready to go up north for what we thought was Kim’s birthday. We see them get on private jets … and then we find out that at 7 p.m. last night, Kanye is still in Los Angeles and he’s presenting an award at the Hollywood Film Awards, so we’re like, ‘Guess they’re just going to have dinner or something and this won’t be a big deal.’ By 10 p.m., he has already gotten in a plane, gone and surprised Kim at the baseball stadium. She had no idea!”

As it was all happening, a 50-piece orchestra was in the outfield playing love songs, including Lana Del Rey’s “Young and Beautiful.”

After Kim said “Yes!” to the rapper, “running out of the dugout at the baseball stadium is all of Kim’s sisters, with the whole family,” reveals Ken.

As for the reality star’s stunning 15-carat diamond engagement ring, Ken explains that it is “flawless, of course. It’s by jeweler Lorraine Schwartz. It’s custom, it’s unique, it’s priceless. But it’s well over a million dollars. From what I’ve seen it’s massive and beautiful, but it’s not big in that gaudy kind of way. It’s an absolutely beautiful rock. She’s gotta be on top of the world right now!”

Although Kim and Kanye’s family and friends were all there, Ken adds that their 4-month-old daughter North (or “Nori” for short), unfortunately was not on-hand with her parents for their special moment. “North was in the city, but we’re told it was all happening too late and it was too cold, and so North wasn’t there to be part of the surprise,” adds Ken.
