Emmy Wildwood Exposes High-Life Party Scene in ‘Luxurious Problems’
Living in the limelight comes with a price, and Emmy Wildwood uncovers the hardcore, partying lifestyle of the rich and famous in her music video for “Luxurious Problems.”
RyanSeacrest.com has the exclusive premiere of the Carl Weston-directed music video, which stars Nina Burns from Cycle 20 of America’s Next Top Model. While on the phone with a mystery person, the opening scene takes a glimpse inside Nina’s room, which include stills of scattered cash, cigarette packs, handles of alcohol, and a prescription bottle.
The Top Model alum dolls up in a wedding dress and veil for a night on the town, and she is greeted by the pestering paparazzi on her way to a vodka-fueled party, which Emmy narrates with her pop-rock song.
The video’s finale takes a turn when the boozed-up party animal wakes up the next morning inside the trunk of car, tied up with tape over her mouth.
Emmy is an Arizona native who moved to New York to pursue her career in music. The songstress took her career into her own hands by starting her own record label and vintage store — Tiger Blanket Records & Vintage Boutique — in Brooklyn’s Williamsburg. The 28-year-old was recently dubbed “Artist of the Month” by iconic fashion designer, Patricia Field, and was also named “Best Indie Pop Star” by NYC’s Village Voice.
“Luxurious Problems” — which you can purchase on iTunes now — is the second single off her debut EP, Emmy Wildwood, which is set for release in February 2014.
