‘Keeping Up with the Kardashians’: Kris Seeks Family Support on Show
Fans got to see Kris Jenner‘s dreams come true, while Khloé Kardashian Odom continues to deal with husband Lamar Odom and Kim Kardashian faces making her way back to the spotlight after giving birth to North West.
Sunday’s episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians shed some light on momager Kris’ nerves going into her “dream” talk show stint. And while she seeks advice from good friend Kathie Lee Gifford, she feels less-than-supported by her own family.
While Kris wonders if she’ll be able to pull off having her own talk show, Kourtney and Khloé raise concerns of their own including their feelings about Kris’ wanting to reveal baby North.
After borrowing her stylist’s baby to pose as Nori, Kourtney admits: ‘Since Kanye [West] is very private about North I feel like it’s not cool.”
While Kris continues working on her show, her now-estranged husband Bruce Jenner takes Kendall, Kylie, Brandon, Brody, Khloé, Leah, and Rob on a camping trip which turns into an alien hunt at Area 51, where experts Alejandro Rojas and Travis Walton join them.
And aside from worrying about being abducted, Khloé admits she is also concerned about Lamar. “Lamar has been having a really tough time lately,” she admits. And her worries aren’t unwarranted. After numerous cryptic phone calls are made, it’s clear something is off with the basketball player.
“I’m not with Lamar in L.A. I can’t stop him from calling everyone’s phones. I know it looks weird and I don’t know what to say,” Khloé admits. “I’ve been down this road way more times than I’d like to admit.”
Another struggle revealed was Kim’s reluctance to film a video for her mom’s talk show. The new mom wanted to show her support yet felt she wasn’t ready to make her post-baby debut.
“I’m going to look like a big fat ass,” Kim stressed. “I don’t want this to be like, ‘She’s back!’ Because I’m not there yet.”
Tune in next week to see Kylie’s Sweet 16 Bash and more when Keeping Up with the Kardashians returns to E! at 9/8c.
