Angel Haze Covers Lana Del Rey’s ‘Summertime Sadness’: Listen

After freestyling over borrowed beats from Kanye‘s “Back Skinhead,” Jay Z‘s  “Tom Ford,” Macklemore‘s “Same Love,” and covering Miley Cyrus‘ “Wrecking Ball,” Angel Haze is trying her hand at Lana Del Rey‘s “Summertime Sadness.”

With the help of synths and mid-tempo beats, the up-and-coming rapper evokes raw emotions as she vulnerably sings the mournful song.

Angel has been delivering new song covers and freestyles of chart-topping hits to create buzz for her upcoming debut album, 30 Gold.
