‘Bridget Jones’ Author on Possible Third Film With Renee Zellweger
Bridget Jones is back!
The author behind the beloved character, Helen Fielding, recently released the third installment, Bridget Jones: Mad About the Boy, causing fans everywhere to begin to anticipate another film, as well.
Mad About The Boy sees Bridget, who is now 51-years-old and raising two children as a widow after Mark Darcy passes away, indulge in the social media world of tweeting, texting, and spending hours shopping online.
And now that the third installment has hit the shelves, we’re dying to know if we’ll see Renee Zellweger and her character Bridget play out on the big screen again.
“Well, I hope so,” Helen tells On Air with Ryan Seacrest. “I think she did a fantastic job in both movies. That would be wonderful! But it’s very early days, and we haven’t even started discussing a movie. I really just finished the book.”
