Flo Rida Says Pitbull Will Be a Great Host at American Music Awards

Pitbull is set to host the 2013 American Music Awards, on Sunday November 24, serving as the show’s first host since 2008.

The global music sensation is also set to perform his latest hit with Ke$ha, “Timber”, joining the lineup of performers including Luke Bryan, Miley Cyrus, Florida Georgia Line, Lady Gaga, Imagine Dragons, Kendrick Lamar, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, One Direction and more.

And considering this will be the rappers first time hosting a big award show, we asked friend and collaborator Flo Rida how he feels he’ll do.

Flo Rida, who just released his first single “How I Feel” off his upcoming album The Perfect 10, shares with On Air with Ryan Seacrest he thinks Pit will dominate.

Flo says: “He’s definitely one of those standup guys who know how to get a party going. I’m pretty sure the fans will never have a bored part of the show. He represents the 305, so I mean, he’s the life of the party!”

Catch Pitbull and many more at the 2013 American Music Awards, which will broadcast live from the Nokia Theatre L.A. live on Sunday, November 24, at 8-11 pm ET/PT on ABC. And to vote, click here!
