Photo of Blind Dog Hugging His Brother in Shelter Goes Viral

The only thing cuter than two puppies is two puppies hugging!

A photo of canine brothers Jermaine and Jeffrey embracing while sleeping at the Operation Ava animal shelter in Philadelphia quickly went viral once the Chester County SPCA posted this sweet image on Facebook. If the puppies hugging wasn’t enough, one of them (Jeffrey) is blind and he relies on his brother Jermaine to be his guide dog!

“Pictures are worth a thousand words, but this one might just leave you speechless,” says the caption. “Earlier we posted a picture of Jeffrey, who is blind, and his brother Jermaine, who has dedicated his life to be Jeffrey’s loyal guide dog. Here they are as they sleep, holding on to each other. The unconditional love and devotion these two dogs show is positively inspirational.”

In just three days, the photo already has 32,000-plus “likes” and has been shared on the social network by more than 71,000 people.

In a video posted online, Jeffrey and Jermaine are seen at the shelter, as well as playing together outside:
