Miley Cyrus Performs ‘Wrecking Ball’ in Sandy Desert on UK ‘X Factor’

We wouldn’t have been be surprised if Miley Cyrus flew in on a magic carpet to perform on U.K.’s The X Factor on Sunday.

Dressed in Aladdin-inspired attire, Miley sang her hit single, “Wrecking Ball,” on a fake desert sand dune. She donned a black bejeweled turban and a gold, floor-length Marc Jacobs dress.

The performance was uneventful compared to the “We Can’t Stop” singer’s recent gigs, but this allowed the audience to focus more on her voice and the music.

Miley told her fans via Twitter that she was feeling sick before heading to The X Factor set. Although her voice was powerful as always, it was clear that she struggled to hit certain notes as her voice cracked.

We hope Miley feels better soon! She is set to perform at the American Music Awards on Sunday, November 24, the day after her 21st birthday!
