Hunter Hayes Talks Emotional New Single ‘Invisible’

Hunter Hayes debuted his new single “Invisible” at the 56th Annual Grammy Awards on Sunday night and it’s a seriously personal song that he’s actually been hanging onto for a couple of years.

The Grammy nominee revealed to On Air with Ryan Seacrest at the KIIS FM Pre-Grammy party that the song relates back to when he was growing up and was a “music geek.”

“I wrote it about two years ago,” Hunter shares. “It was essentially like the second song I wrote for this new record and I didn’t really know if anybody would relate to it the way that I do, you know,  because it’s so personal. [But] lucky enough the team believed in it and the Grammys said we want you to introduce this on our stage.”

If you haven’t heard it yet, you can download “Invisible” on iTunes now here.

You can also catch Hunter when he hits the road for his We’re Not Invisible Tour in March and at the iHeartRadio Country Festival. Click here for more info.
