Ariana Grande Teases Next Album, Secret Collaboration

Ariana Grande has been heavily teasing her second album, and the 20-year-old recently told MTV at the Grammys red carpet on Sunday night that she is “working really hard” on her follow-up project.

The pop princess, who walked the carpet in a floral-printed Dolce & Gabbana dress, dished to MTV that she has been “in-studio nonstop,” and the “Baby I” songstress also talked about the star-power working behind her forthcoming album, which includes OneRepublic‘s lead singer Ryan Tedder.

“We cut two songs together already. And he’s amazing,” Ariana said about Ryan, who also penned chart-topping tracks for Beyonce and Kelly Clarkson. “I love working with him because he understands what it’s like as a vocalist to want the song that day. He’ll literally let me take two takes of something and then he’ll have it done by the time I get out of the booth.”

The starlet also opened up about a mystery artist who asked her to feature in one of his songs.

“I just had a meeting yesterday with an artist that I love. I’m not allowed yet, but he asked me to feature on a song of his and I’m very excited about that,” she said. “It’s an unexpected collaboration, but I think that’s what makes it so cool. I don’t want to say anything until it’s recorded.”

Ariana’s highly-anticipated sophomore album is scheduled for release some time in February or March.
