Miley Cyrus Goes Country, Performs With Madonna on ‘MTV Unplugged’

Miley Cyrus rocked the stage for her MTV Unplugged concert on Wednesday, and the former Disney star reminded the world — once again — of her Southern upbringing and incredible vocals.

The pop superstar, who donned multiple country-inspired outfits, stripped down a few of her hits off her world-conquering Bangerz album — which included a twangy performance of “Adore You,” “Drive,” “Wrecking Ball,” and “SMS (Bangerz)” sans Britney Spears, who assisted her on the pop-heavy track.

The 21-year-old, who also covered Dolly Parton‘s “Jolene,” capped off her acoustic session with Madonna, and together, the pop icons had a hoedown with an unadulterated medley of “Don’t Tell Me” and “We Can’t Stop” filled with grinding and spanking.

Miley is now preparing to embark on her 2014 Bangerz tour starting February 14 in Vancouver. For dates, click here.
