Ashley Allen Parties Non-Stop in ‘Body Say No, Heart Say Yes’ Video

You might think rising pop star and thrill-seeker Ashley Allen is a nap-fiend, but no, she’s having too much fun.

The singer-songwriter has released the eclectic music video for her pop-infused single, “Body Say No, Heart Say Yes,” and has the exclusive premiere.

The stimulating mini-movie follows the New Yorker on her non-stop journey from one adventure to another — which includes a late-night run on a city rooftop, club-hopping, a bonfire gone wrong, and shots of the singer dancing to the care-free lyrics about conquering exhaustion.

The floor-filler anthem, hyped as a track about “seizing the day” influenced by George Michaels‘ “Faith,” also serves as the title track for her debut EP, available on iTunes now.

“The purpose of the EP was to make people happy,” the 24-year-old tells “I didn’t want to add anything that wasn’t an upbeat pop song. I have tons of ballads and I have tons of music that will allow people to know how vulnerable I am, but that can come later.”
