FOX’s Joe Buck Talks Cold Weather at the Super Bowl
With the Seattle Seahawks and Denver Broncos set to play against each other at the NFL Super Bowl XLVIII at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey, football fans everywhere have been concerned if the cold will be a major factor.
However, Joe, who has spent the last couple of days with the teams and talking with the coaches, doesn’t think it’s going to be as big of a problem as the world thinks.
“I think the only unusual part [about the cold] is it won’t be that cold. It’s been cold the beginning part of the week, but they’ve been taking about mid-to-upper 30s and we are all conditioned now to … play the game in the cold. I don’t think it’s going to be a story for as much as it’s been talked about going into this game.”
Another thing people have been buzzing about is former USC coach Pete Carroll, who will be coaching his first ever Super Bowl for the Seahawks.
“He’s great, he’s so loose, he’s so energetic,” Joe shares. “I mean … what’s remarkable is … he is the second-oldest coach in the NFL. He’s 62 and he looks like he’s 48!”
Tune in to the NFL Super Bowl XLVIII this Sunday, February 2, 3:30 p.m. on FOX.
