Cody Simpson Reminisces About Young Romance in ‘Love’ Video

Valentine’s Day is upon us and Cody Simpson is reminding fans that no one is too young for romance in his latest music video, “Love,” which dropped on Tuesday.

The Florent Déchard-directed video finds the Aussie crooner on a tropical island and reminiscing about his first love by re-watching old footage on a vintage projector of a young Cody frolicking hand-in-hand with his crush on a pier.

The 17-year-old then sings the acoustic-reggae blended track around the campfire: “Everybody tells us that we are too young for love / But they don’t know what it is like to be young and us/Age isn’t nothing but a number.”

As the song progresses, Ziggy Marley joins Cody and the pair strum their guitars fireside as the video ends with a look back at young Cody and his crush cuddled up at the beach while watching the sun set.

If you enjoyed this summer-esque video, “Love” is available on Cody’s album Surfers Paradise now on iTunes.
