Taylor Swift and Emeli Sandé Perform ‘Next to Me’ in Concert

If fans don’t know by now, a ticket to see Taylor Swift in concert is also a ticket to see a special guest performer.

After inviting Sam Smith onstage for a duet of his single “Money on My Mind” last week, the songstress enlisted Emeli Sandé on Monday night during her sold-out Red tour concert at the O2 Arena in London.

The “I Knew You Were Trouble” singer, who teased fans with an anecdote of how they met at the Brit Awards last year, brought out the UK singer for an uplifting performance of Emeli’s “Next to Me.”

After the show, Taylor Instagrammed a candid photo of herself — donning a double decker bus shirt and black high-waisted shorts — with the 26-year-old during their performance, captioned, “Next to meeeeee, woo hooo! <3.”

“Tonight @emelisande surprised our London crowd with ‘Next to Me’!! SHE IS SO HEAVENLY. I’ve had the best time here. Last show tomorrow….” tweeted Taylor, who will end her five-day residency at the O2 Arena on Tuesday.

What are your thoughts on the duet? And more importantly, who do you think Taylor will bring out at her next concert?
