Mariah Carey Releases New Song ‘You’re Mine (Eternal)’: Listen

This year, Cupid has manifested himself in the form of Mariah Carey!

The superstar has finally dropped her latest single, “You’re Mine (Eternal),” on Wednesday, and the song serves as a reminder of what Mariah does best: slaying the love ballad game.

Laced with mid-tempo beats and soft chimes, the vulnerable love song evokes the perfect Valentine’s Day tune with lyrics like: “You make me feel / our love would never end / how can I forget / baby we were the best / I suffered dreams of you all through the night.”

The love-laden track, teased as “another classic anthem” on her website, once again showcases the “We Belong Together” singer’s octave-defying vocals as she caps off the song in a breathy falsetto.

“You’re Mine (Eternal)” — the first cut off her upcoming album slated for release on May 6 — will also come with a visual, which will premiere Wednesday night exclusively on MTV at 7:50 ET/PT.
