Jimmy Fallon and Jimmy Kimmel Mock L.A. Earthquake: Videos

The 4.4-magnitude earthquake that shook Los Angeles early Monday morning has become a thing of the past, but Jimmy Fallon and Jimmy Kimmel are still riding the comedic aftershock on their late-night talk shows.

On another segment of Lie Witness News, the Jimmy Kimmel Live! team went out to Hollywood Boulevard and asked pedestrians how they’re preparing for a bogus “big one” that was set to hit on Wednesday. When questioned, “Where were you when you first heard the news that the big one is going to hit tomorrow morning,” one man spat out some hilarious lies.

“Well it was about 1:15, it was on to Facebook,” he says. “There was some like rabble about it, and then I like checked it up. You know, I looked at the seismology, some of the charts that were going on, and they were saying that yeah … tomorrow.”

In another earthquake parody, Fallon set his crosshairs on KTLA‘s morning news anchor Chris Schauble, who gave a priceless reaction live on air that went viral on YouTube.

“This just in: I want my mommy,” mocks Fallon. “Also, don’t help the lady sitting next to you. Just dive under the desk as fast as you can, buddy. Leave her out there hanging!”

The 39-year-old continued to throw jabs at the viral response by making the priceless facial expression, and he even dives into a Broadway-esque number about — well — earthquakes.
