Lorde Joins Nirvana for Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Performance


The surviving members of Nirvana reunited on Thursday night at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn for their induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and Lorde, Joan Jett, Sonic Youth‘s Kim Gordon, and St. Vincent, joined them onstage to perform.

Although the iconic band hasn’t performed original songs together since the death of lead singer Kurt Cobain in 1994, Dave Grohl, Pat Smear, and Krist Novoselic rocked the stage with some fan favorites, like “Smells Like Teen Spirit,” “Lithium,” and “Aneurysm.”

The 17-year-old “Team” singer killed it when she joined the rock band to sing “All Apologies” (watch above). She tweeted about the special experience saying:
