Demi Lovato Makes Surprise Appearance on ‘American Idol’

Demi Lovato got a front row seat to all the American Idol action on Wednesday night.

The “Neon Lights” singer stopped by the show to watch backstage … until Ryan brought her out! “You’ve go to hang with us out here a little bit,” he told her after the crowd went wild.

“Well, I’m glad, I was getting a little bored back there,” Demi teased. “I wanted to see it in action.”

The 21-year-old then headed over to the couch where Randy Jackson and the Top 7 were seated to watch the rest of the show.

Demi, who just wrapped the American leg of her Neon Lights tour, is getting ready to head back on the road for the South American leg … and who knows, maybe a few more U.S. dates in the future.

Dexter Roberts — “Muckalee Creek Water”
