Beyonce Teams up With Boots for ‘Dreams': Listen
Once again, Beyonce is surprising fans by releasing new music, however this time the “Drunk in Love” singer is featured on producer, Boots’ new track, “Dreams.”
Beyonce lends her voice to the soulful, dream-like track, which is also the last track on Boots’ WinterSpringSummerFall mixtape that he has been slowly releasing on his SoundCloud.
When fans purchase the song, the proceeds go to Day One, a non-profit organization which devotes itself to sheltering, educating, and advocating for young people at risk of dating abuse.
The epic duet came about when Boots sent Beyonce a copy of the track and asked for her thoughts, and she responded by adding her vocals.
Listen to “Dreams” below:
“I love that the song has me and what I’m doing in my realm and her and what she’s doing in hers, and it’s so completely opposite but they work incredibly together,” Boots revealed to Vogue. “It’s just a really cool testament to our friendship and relationship to do something like this, and as natural as it was for it to exist in the way that it’s going to exist. I feel like I’ve been given my wings to fly.
New York musician and producer, Boots, also known as Jordy Asher, exploded onto the scene when he produced a majority of Beyonce’s 2013 self-titled album.
