Did Blake Shelton Tweet Adam Levine’s Real Cell Phone Number?

The friendly rivalry between The Voice coaches Adam Levine and Blake Shelton reached a new level during Monday night’s Top 10 live performance show.

During the singing competition, the Maroon 5 rocker instigated his ongoing feud with Blake by tweeting a snarky comment towards the country singer.

Looking for a clever response to Adam’s remark, Blake found the answer in his phonebook:

Moments later, the Red River Blue artist followed through with his threat by tweeting a 10-digit cell phone number that allegedly belong to People‘s Sexiest Man Alive.

“It was his number,” Voice host Carson Daly confirmed to Today. “I knew it was real because Adam told me it was real, but I didn’t know if they were going to go through with it or how it would play out. The phone that I always call him on is now discontinued.”

Do you think Blake went too far with his joke? Or more importantly, were you able to get a hold of Adam?
