Miley Cyrus Postpones More Tour Dates Due to Illness
Get well soon!
Just two days after Miley Cyrus called in to On Air with Ryan Seacrest to update everyone on her “scary” hospitalization and how she was looking forward to getting back on her Bangerz tour, she’s been forced to postpone the start of her European leg.
“After a period of improvement, Cyrus’ symptoms have returned and doctors will not permit her to travel,” her management confirmed to People.com.
After the news broke, Miley — who had a severe allergic reaction to medication she was prescribed for the flu — expressed her disappointment on Twitter:
When Miley called in to OAWRS on Monday morning, she explained that after she had taken some doctor-prescribed medication for the flu, and then, “On the sixth day, I just woke up … it was so scary … I had basically been poisoning myself with something I didn’t know I was really scary allergic to.”
After spending nearly a week in the hospital, Miley also told Ryan she was inspired to get more involved with his Seacrest Studios. “It’s such an intense situation,” she explained about being hospitalized. “I don’t know how these kids do this.”
