Andrew Garfield, Coldplay’s Chris Martin Kiss in Hilarious ‘SNL’ Sketch

Andrew Garfield hosted Saturday Night Live over the weekend and tapped his co-star and real-life girlfriend, Emma Stone, for a Spider-Man spoof.

In the sketch, Taran Killam — who plays a Hollywood director — instructs the duo to recreate a “climactic love scene” where Spider-Man takes Gwen Stacy to the Brooklyn Bridge for a grand kiss. After several unsuccessful and awkward takes, Taran enlists Coldplay‘s frontman Chris Martin to try his hand at the romantic scene.

“Now you listen to me you beautiful Spidery-Man,” says Chris, donning a long blonde wig. “With great power comes great responsibility. And our responsibility right now is to make sweet, sweet love. So why don’t you go ahead and show me that beautiful little tongue? Come to papa.”

As Andrew sticks his tongue out, the English singer dips the hesitant actor and spins him for a faux kiss.

Also during the late-night hour, Andrew performed a spot-on impersonation of Justin Timberlake for a Family Feud spoof, and starred in “The Beygency,” in which he became public enemy No. 1 after admitting to not liking all of Beyoncé‘s songs.

Coldplay, who were the musical guest for the weekend, promoted their Ghost Stories album — due out on May 19 — by performing “Magic” and “A Sky Full of Stars.”
