Ed Sheeran, Coldplay, More Perform on Star-Studded ‘The Voice’ Finale

The sixth season of The Voice came to its finale episode on Tuesday, with Jake Worthington, Josh Kaufman, and Christina Grimmie going head-to-head as the final three contestants.

Prior to crowning the season champion, Christina tapped Ed Sheeran for an acoustic rendition of “All of the Stars” (above) —  a track off the Fault in Our Stars soundtrack starring Shailene Woodley. The 20-year-old YouTuber also enlisted her now-blonde Voice coach, Adam Levine, for a stripped-down version of Gotye‘s 2011 anthem, “Somebody That I Used To Know.”

The night included more powerhouse duets from Robin Thicke and Team Usher‘s Josh, who performed the Paula Patton-dedicated “Get Her Back,” and Blake Shelton‘s protégé Jake recruited Alabama for “Mountain Music.”

The star-studded night even saw OneRepublic‘s Ryan Tedder perform “Love Runs Out,” and Coldplay graced the stage with a fresh performance of their newest single, “With a Sky Full of Stars.” Country heavy-hitter Tim McGraw performed “City Lights,” and Ed belted his second song, “Sing.”

The Voice concluded after naming Josh as the season victor. Jake came in second while Christina placed third.
