Mindy Kaling Shares Life Advice With Harvard Law Graduates: Watch

Mindy Kaling, a self-professed lover of true crime, got the chance to impart her wisdom on the newest Harvard class of future lawyers.

The 34-year-old comedian was a speaker at Harvard Law School’s Class Day ceremony on Wednesday, and she covered everything from Legally Blonde to her views on the law.

Of course, Mindy’s sense of humor and some pickup lines were thrown in. “You are the nerds who are going to make serious bank,” she joked. “Which is why I’m here today: To marry the best-looking amongst you.”

In her speech, The Mindy Project star also added in some inspirational advice as she enlightened the class on the power they now possess.

“What you decide to do in the next five to 10 years will affect the rights of people in a fundamental way,” said Kaling. “You are responsible for the language of justice. You take words and turn them into the infrastructure that keeps our world stable…One day you’ll have the power to make a difference. Use it well.”
