Ed Sheeran Performs Acoustic Version of ‘All of the Stars’ on ‘Ellen’

Ed Sheeran stopped by The Ellen DeGeneres Show and performed an acoustic rendition of “All of the Stars.”

In the video, which was released on Tuesday, the 23-year-old serenades the audience with his unadulterated vocals and delivers a soulful performance of the tender ballad. The track will act as the theme song for the upcoming summer blockbuster, A Fault in Our Stars, starring Shailene Woodley and Ansel Elgort.

On May 16, the British singer sat down with Ellen to promote his upcoming X album and shot down speculations that his track “Don’t” is about his good friend Taylor Swift.

“It’s not about Taylor,” the + artist tells the daytime host. “I feel like the way I get my anger out is to write songs, and that song was literally, I felt something I put it down, and I felt a lot better afterwards.”

MTV will also air a documentary on the “Sing” crooner entitled, Nine Days and Nights, on June 10. The hour-long special will provide fans with a scope on the “Give Me Love” singer’s personal life and skyrocketing career.

Ed’s sophomore record will be released via Atlantic Records and Asylum Records on June 23. A Fault in Our Stars arrives in theaters on June 6.
