Carrie, Miranda, John Legend, and More Perform at CMT Awards

The 2014 CMT Awards was a star-studded event, with host Kristen Bell and country music’s biggest names collaborating with one another!

Kicking off the show was a musical mashup with Luke Bryan, Florida Georgia Line … and Jason Derulo?

The performance was led off by guitarists Billy Gibbons and Dusty Hill of ZZ Top, then segued into Florida Georgia Line’s country hit “This is How We Roll” featuring Luke. The boys then introduce Jason onstage to perform his hit “Talk Dirty” and they even tried to mimic Jason’s dance moves while adding their own country spin to the song.

Carrie Underwood and Miranda Lambert looked and sounded amazing for their performance of Miranda’s “Somethin’ Bad.” Carrie took the award of “Video of the Year” for “See You Again,” and Miranda won “Female Video of the Year” for her song “Automatic.”

John Legend’s hit ballad “All of Me” also got a country spin when he collaborated with Sugarland’s Jennifer Nettles, accompanied by three-time nominee Hunter Hayes on guitar!
