Robin Thicke Is Naming Next Album ‘Paula’ For Estranged Wife

He’ll do anything to “Get Her Back.”

After eight years of marriage, Robin Thicke and Paula Patton announced their separation in February saying, “we have mutually decided to separate at this time.” But Robin must have missed the mutual memo.

Rap-Up reported on Wednesday that Thicke will be titling his seventh studio album, Paula after his estranged wife, and soon after the “Blurred Lines singer confirmed it when he simply tweeted, #Paula.

But this is not the first time we’ve seen the 37-year-old singer “lost without” Paula. He has been dedicating songs to her at concerts and writing new songs for his high school sweetheart-turned-wife.

He performed his new song, “Get Her Back” at the 2014 Billboard Music Awards, introducing the song by saying, “All right, y’all, help me get her back.”

The new album was written and produced entirely by the “Blurred Lines” singer and will arrive on July 1.

If you need your dose of desperate Robin Thicke sooner, he is set to perform some of his new songs at the 2014 BET Awards on June 29.
