OK Go Trick Our Eyes With ‘The Writing’s on the Wall’ Video
OK Go are at it again!
The guys who first shot to fame in 2005 with their one-take treadmill dance for “Here It Goes Again” have stepped it up for their latest, “The Writing’s on the Wall.”
The video, yet again a one-take shot, is basically one giant optical illusion that puts the four band members in all kinds of visually-assaulting situations, like jumping on boxes that seems real, but then turn into paintings, riding a bicycle upside down, and getting splattered with pink paint.
According to Rolling Stone, the video for the single, which is about two people seeing very different things in a relationship, took three weeks to assemble and 50 takes to get right.
“The Writing’s on the Wall” is off their Hungry Ghosts album, which is due out in October and can be pre-ordered here!
