Ed Sheeran Mashes Chris Brown, Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg at Surprise Set

Ed Sheeran was at the Doyles pub in Dublin and delivered a surprise acoustic performance for Ruby Sessions on Wednesday night.

During his mini concert, the 23-year-old flawlessly mashed his single “Don’t” with Chris Brown‘s “Loyal,” Blackstreet‘s “No Diggity,” and Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg‘s “The Next Episode.” As his final act, the “Give Me Love” singer performed “Nina” — off his X album — for the first time.

Ed’s two-hour set also included a live performance of “Lego House,” “I’m a Mess,” and his tender love song, “Thinking Out Loud.”

After his unexpected spectacle, the British singer shared a photo of himself standing on top of a pub table in front of a crowded room.

“Played a secret gig for the Ruby sessions last night in Dublin,” he captioned the Instagram photo. “Always the best gigs of the year for me.”

Ed, who is scheduled to perform at the sold-out iHeartRadio Music Festival on September 20, earned his first No. 1 album on the Billboard 200 with X after selling over 210,000 copies, according to Nielsen SoundScan.
