Ed Sheeran’s ‘Don’t’ Music Video Stars Hip-Hop Contortionist: Watch

Ed Sheeran released the music video for his newest single “Don’t” on Monday.

The video, which includes cameos of the British singer on the news and driving through the neighborhood, stars a hip-hop contortionist who wakes up in a junkyard and immediately begins to bust his fluid dance moves through a stranger’s home.

The visual documents the evolution of the dancer’s social status as he goes from living on the streets to a millionaire with a mansion and a panoramic view of the city.

The 23-year-old was last spotted at a surprise acoustic set for Ruby Sessions last Wednesday. There, the “Give Me Love” singer delivered a mashup of “Don’t,” “Nina,” Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg‘s “The Next Episode,” Chris Brown‘s “Loyal,” and Blackstreet‘s “No Diggity.”

“Don’t,” the follow-up single to “Sing,” is off Ed’s X album, which is available on iTunes now. His sophomore LP debuted at No. 1 with 210,000 copies sold, according to the Nielsen SoundScan.
