Chris Brown Sets Release Date for ‘X’ Album, Admits to Past Mistakes

Better late than never!

Chris Brown has announced he’ll finally release his long awaited X album on September 16.

The 25-year-old singer has been dropping tracks from the album for about a year now, including “Fine China,” “Don’t Think They Know” featuring the late Aaliyah, “Love More” featuring Nicki Minaj, “Loyal” featuring Lil Wayne, and “New Flame” featuring Usher and Rick Ross.

Breezy also collaborated with Ariana Grande in “Don’t Be Gone Too Long” and Rihanna in “Put It Up,” both of which have yet to be released.

Since his release from rehab, the “Forever” singer has been working hard on finishing up this comeback album and is even admitting to his mistakes.

Chris posted a photo of himself on Instagram with a message to fans reading, “I been through a lot in my life. Made a lot of mistakes along the way. But through it all I’ve always been true to myself and through God I’ve been able to take care of my family! I should regret some things but I think the lessons learned will shape me into a real man. I’m grateful and appreciative! Thank you for life!”

Chris also took it old-school by sharing two videos of himself singing to D’Angelo’sHow Does It Feel”… and he sounds amazing!
