Taylor Swift Sings Adele’s ‘Someone Like You’ With Leukemia Patient
Taylor Swift is spreading joy across Boston Children’s Hospital one song at a time.
After singing and dancing to “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together” with 6-year-old cancer patient Jordan Nickerson, Taylor made another patient’s day by serenading him with Adele‘s “Someone Like You.”
During the Red artist’s surprise visit, she stumbled across another patient and noticed a keyboard in his room. The 24-year-old singer asked the young man, who is also battling Leukemia, to play a song for her, so he decided to play “Someone Like You” — a song he had been working on.
Even though she flubbed the lyrics and only knew a few lines, the “22” singer created a magical moment for the patient that he will forever cherish.
“This was the most amazing moment in my life being able to accompany Taylor Swift. She is super nice and cordial and probably made everyone’s day here at the hospital,” he wrote in the video description. “It was so great of her to come out specially to visit all of us here at the hospital.”
Lately, Taylor has been full of surprises. The “You Belong With Me” singer dropped a mysterious “clue” via Instagram on Monday, which sparked rumors of a forthcoming album.
“So, here’s your first clue…” she captioned the video.
