Iggy Azalea Performs ‘Fancy’ and ‘Work’ on ‘Today’

On Friday morning, Iggy Azalea was work, work, work, work, working on the Today stage.

The Australian rapper not only performed her No. 1 hit, “Fancy” (minus Charli XCX), and “Work,” but she also made a special announcement: She’ll be performing her next single, the Rita Ora duet “Black Widow,” at the MTV Video Music Awards on August 24.

During a sit-down interview inside following her performance, Iggy, 24, opened up about her sudden fame.

“I didn’t anticipate there being so many people out there,” she said about the fans who camped out at Rockefeller Center. “I’m from a really small, small town in Australia. It has a population of 3,000 … and then I moved to Miami when I was 16, almost 17-years-old. I wanted to take school out there, but it didn’t end up working out.”
