RyanSeacrest.com found 20 talented YouTubers who cover Ariana Grande‘s hit single “Problem” featuring Iggy Azalea, and after five elimination rounds, fans chose Maria Zouroudis as the contest winner!

The YouTuber reigned supreme in the cover contest after producing a music video of herself belting the kiss-off anthem in an open highway with electric guitarist Joey Lopez. In the video, the singer-songwriter shows off her hair-raising vocals by experimenting with a range of breathy falsettos.

In lieu of the Australian rapper’s guest verse, Maria — who has been writing her own lyrics since she was 5-years-old — makes it her own by incorporating her self-written bridge.

“Say you love / and you leave me / tell me how that make sense,” she sings. “Never know what to even call a situation / feeling one hundred since you made your exit.”

The Florida native has also tried her hand at Justin Timberlake‘s “Not a Bad Thing,” Pharrell Williams‘ “Happy,” Beyoncé‘s “Drunk in Love,” and she is currently working on her debut EP. For more information on Maria Z, make sure to subscribe to her YouTube channel and connect with her on Facebook and Twitter.

Thank you to everyone who participated in the contest. Check out the rest of the contestants and their videos below:
