Matt Horne Is a Fiend for Love in ‘Relapse’ Video: Watch

For some people, love takes them through a vicious cycle of ups and downs. But even after a relationship has gone sour and the ties have been cut, some may reminisce on the pleasant memories and have a difficult time staying cleaning.

For soul-singer Matt Horne, he’s hooked, and he finds himself in the turbulent dilemma in his emotional ballad, “Relapse,” and has the exclusive premiere.

Interwined with forceful metaphors, the piano-driven track is a desperate plea for the high he gets from being in love.

“Just let me relapse / I fall to my knees / my memories on my drugs,” he sings. “Have got to be better than these / I don’t want the hurt / I’ve been stuck this war / fighting this battle / but i don’t know who i’m fighting for.”

“Relapse” is the latest cut off the New Zealand native’s acoustic-tinged debut EP Love and War, available for download by clicking here.
