There seems to be an evergreen blizzard when it comes to YouTube covers of “Let It Go” from Disney’s Frozen. However, one creative groomsman put a refreshing new twist on the Oscar-winning track to break the ice at his best friend’s wedding.

Rather than reading off a traditional best man speech written with clever punch lines and witty remarks, Joey Boyes — now known as #BestManJoe — decided to honor and embarrass his pal by singing a Frozen-themed toast, which took him six months to pen.

“I know your dad is smiling up there on his cloud,” he sings. “And on behalf of him / I want to tell you / he’s so proud / apart from that time you got mouthy with the cops.”

The video, shared by the bride Jessica Clark on her YouTube account, pulled over 60,000 views since its upload on Tuesday, August 19.

“#BestManJoe (Joey Boyes) sung his amazing best man speech at our wedding Saturday 16th 2014,” Rebecca wrote in the video’s description. “This was completely unexpected surprise and resulted in a standing innovation for Joe from the other wedding guests, including the bride and groom!”

Check out the lyrics from best man Joe’s wedding speech:

Bride wears white on her wedding day, and her husband’s looking keen
After years of dating mingers, he’s finally found a queen
The groom he too looks great, I’m sure you’ll all agree
He couldn’t get it wrong, ‘cos he’s dressed like me
You called him “Tom”, his name is Dom
As his wife, you’d best not get that wrong
Imagine if you had said “no”, well now we know.

Best man Joe, says hello, to the couple with the brightest spark
Best man Joe, says hello, to the brand new Mrs Clark
Here I stand, on your wedding day
Let us raise a glass, I guess this must prove that Dom’s not gay.

I have known him, since we were very small
You attended my first birthday, and my 17th bar brawl
I’m just so pleased she said I do, but she had chance to really think this through
It’s now too late to run away, I’d say

Best man Joe, says hello, to the couple with the brightest spark
Best man Joe, says hello, to the brand new Mrs Clark
Here I stand, on your wedding day
Let us raise a glass.

I know your dad is smiling up there on his cloud
And on behalf of him, I want to tell you, he’s so proud
Apart from that time you got mouthy with the cops
I hope that sleepover taught you to shut your chops.

Best man Joe, says hello, to the man I love the most
Best man Joe, says hello, take your glass, let’s raise a toast
Here we stand, on their wedding day
To the newleyweds, I hope this will be your perfect day.
