Hilary Duff Delays New Album: 10 Classics to Keep You Patient

So yesterday, Hilary Duff came clean and told her 4.51 million followers on Twitter that the October release date for her new comeback album has been pushed back.

The long-anticipated follow-up album to 2007’s Dignity, featuring a collaboration with singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran, was heavily teased with her pop-friendly singles, “Chasing the Sun” and “All About You.”

“The album is very positive,” she told Billboard in August. “It’s very up, but it does talk about… there’s a song called ‘If I Fall,’ which is about me taking a step back and kind of shutting down my whole business, and everyone not believing in me and me being really scared to be alone after I’d been surrounded by 100 people for five years of my life.”

If fans can wait seven years for her latest album, a couple of months is a drop in the bucket. Check out 10 of Hilary Duff’s timeless classics below to remind you that all the wait for her comeback project will be worth it.
