Hugh Jackman to Call $100K Twitter Charity Contest Winner with Ryan

X-Men: Origins star Hugh Jackman is tweeting away on twitter, but for a good cause.

On Wednesday, April 15 Jackman posted on his Twitter profile “I will donate 100k to one individual’s favorite non-profit organization. Of course, you must convince me why by using 140 characters or less.”

Jackman called Ryan's radio show Thursday from London confirming that he will be calling the winner with Ryan on Friday, April 24.

“I’ve always tried to encourage giving, and I think it’s important for everybody to do… to use twitter to do that I’m really enjoying it and I’ve been blown away by what people have been putting on it” said Jackman.

Doing the math, 140 characters adds up to 714 dollars and 28 cents each letter, so choose your words wisely.

Before the winner is revealed, Jackman will join Hollywood A-listers at the Grauman's Chinese Theatre as he is honored  with a hand and footpint ceremony Tuesday, April 21 at 11am.
