American Idol season 8 runner up
Adam Lambert has been waiting for this day for longer than many know.
The singer who struggled for years to make it in Hollywood and struck gold with
American Idol, today join Ryan Seacrest to world premiere "For Your Entertainment", the first track off of his freshman album of the same name.

Lambert describes the song as "dance music with a glam rock shuffle beat."

Dr. Luke, the brain behind such hits as
Kelly Clarkson's "Since U Been Gone" and
Britney Spears' "Circus", the song is the first from an album Lambert says is an "eclectic collection" with an "electo kinda pop feel."

Regarding rumors that Lambert has scheduled a cameo on hit Fox show "Glee," he said "I think that's just a rumor, I haven't heard anything officially about that."
