Gordon Ramsay stopped by Ryan's studio Thursday to kick off his new series coming this December.
Before the 62-year-old Chef talked about his new show, he addressed the fight that broke out on last weeks episode of Hell's Kitchen.
He said the incident between him and the young marine Joseph "was a shame...he wasn't honest with himself I think, you go into Hell's Kitchen, you know how tough it's going to be from the out, so you get given that level of responsibility, don't abuse it...he tried to get physical but that's taking it too far. I think he had a few beers before elimination."
He considers himself "firm but fair" and attributes the show's success to the fact that they "never know what's going to happen."
"The contestants are competitive...We keep it seriously real," he said.
Ramsay explained that today a chef is not merely someone who prepares food, they are great multi-taskers, as well.
"The pressure on a chef today is not just about the cooking, you've got to be a great leader, you've got to have the most amazing managerial skills, you've got to conduct 45 chefs and bring them together within four minutes to each and every table."
If any chef is the poster-child for multi-tasking, it's Gordon Ramsay. With two existing shows with a new one on the way, he feels the time crunch.
His new show, Cookalong Live centers around cooking along with people at home!
"We actually go live...we cook a phenomenal three-course dinner, starting off with something simple as an appetizer, stunning entree maybe some pasta or some fish, and then finish with a desert, but in real time."
The "challenge is a live situation" complete with "web cams as well," you can watch in any city, anywhere.
He came up with the concept of the show because he said, "not enough people watch me cook."
The show is about "taking the intimidation out of food and making it a lot more easy and approachable"
But it's not all gormet meals for Ramsay, he's admittedly "a glutton for In-N-Out Burger."
"The animal-style and even the lettuce wrap are absolutely phenomenal," he praised.
To watch Ramsay's Hell's Kitchen tune in to FOX Tuesdays at 8PM.
