American Idol’s glamtastic runner-up Adam Lambert opens up in the next issue of Rolling Stone, speaking frankly about his sexuality, though he doesn’t think his revelation is particularly shocking.

“I don’t think it should be a surprise for anyone to hear that I’m gay,” Lambert says in the new issue of Rolling Stone, hitting newsstands this week. (VIA ROLLING STONE)

Adams hot and can sing, but the fact that he's gay makes me not like him as much. Such a let down. I thought he was gay during Idol, but I kept denying it 'cause he's got talent. *Sigh*

Who cares about his sexual preferance. Most of his fans knew or had an idea. I just hopethat this doesn't turn him into a tabloid darling. Us fans want to hear about his music , not his preferances

Adam Lambert is the real 2009 American Idol however his sexual preference did not meet American Idols' criteria, therefore Kris Allen wins. It's all politics. Media knows who is the real winner.

I LOVE Adam Lambert! He is edgy and flexible and brave and...well just plain old awesome! :) And who gives a poop if he is gay?? Or if anyone is for that matter? His talent is all that Matters!

Adam Lambert was by far the most talented contestant on Idol! Don't know if his PERSONAL life affected the outcome but at least now he can be himself! Love you from Las Vegas!

"Gay" is fine, but I'm not fond of "in-your-face-gay." I love
Adam (from a grandma point of view), and am disappointed, because he has no plans for an album of "standards." Missing big bucks, guy.
