Sharp-tongued television personality
Joan Rivers was hired by
Donald Trump last night in one of the most dramatic primetime showdowns in years. Rivers edged out poker player
Annie Duke to take the crown on NBC's
Celebrity Apprentice.
Rivers called Ryan's radio show Monday and explained why she was continually at odds with Duke.
"She's a poker player and poker players are supposed to bluff, which is great when you're playing poker," said Rivers. "But I'm a bingo player and you can' tlie...you either have red seve or you don't."
On the show, Rivers contempt for Duke and her conniving ways was seldom hidden. "If Annie ever has a face lift, she'll need two doctors," joked Rivers.
