In traditional awards show fashion, Sunday night's Oscar telecast ran three hours and 37 minutes long, which means A LOT of commercial breaks. What you didn't see on your TV screens was DJ Joel Madden entertaining the crowd with a series of custom Oscar mixes inside the Kodak Theatre in Hollywood.

The Good Charlotte frontman was tapped as the official DJ of the awards show by Oscar producer Adam Shankman.

Madden announced the news on Twitter weeks ago saying, "im going to keep it classy! wikki wikki. -- @adammshankman btw after the show you are definitely going out and lettin' loose."
