American Idol contestant, Megan Joy, got booted off on last night’s results show. Among her last words in the limelight, Megan told judge, Simon Cowell, that she “didn’t care” about his feedback on her performance.

After being told she had the lowest number of votes, Megan was set to sing for her life, however Simon quickly nipped that in the bud by telling her “I’m not even going to pretend that we’re going to contemplate saving you.” Harsh.

In a phone interview with Ryan Seacrest this morning, Joy said that she was, “a little taken aback by the comment”, but doesn’t take it to heart. She maintains a positive attitude explaining that she “went as far as [she] was supposed to go.”
