"We're Gonna Get That Deer" Says Today Show Executive Producer

Ryan spoke to Today Show Executive Producer Jim Bell Tuesday to get the latest on the condition of Matt Lauer who went into surgery yesterday.

Lauer sustained a serious injury to his shoulder after he collided with a deer while riding his bike in New York.

"He had surgery yesterday afternoon to repair a separated shoulder," said Bell. "As you probably know golf is an important thing to Matt and he didn't want to face the prospect of swinging a golf club in pain for the rest of his days."
